Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Training is a comprehensive training created by the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners, an internationally-recognized expert on dementia education. The training covers everything from the definition of dementia to resources for caregivers on how to support someone living with dementia. We discuss the many different types of dementia, including chronic and acute forms. Attendees will gain a better understanding of what is physically happening to someone living with dementia and what they may observe with different types of dementia. The training also includes tools for caregivers and family members to use every day and even shares information on sexuality and intimacy for those living with dementia.
